Blake Griffin has not played in the regular season yet for his new team the Los Angeles Clippers. Griffin was injured in the pre-season and is expected to make his NBA debut in a few weeks. Blake Griffin rookie cards will be very hot as he was the #1 pick by the Clippers in 2009.
When the Sacramento Kings picked Tyreke Evans from Memphis with the #4 pick of the 2009 NBA Draft they knew they had a good player. But Tyreke Evans has been anything but a "Good" player. Instead, he has been a "Great" player for the Kings.
Last night (11/13/09), the Sacramento Kings beat the Houston Rockets 109-100 at Arco Arena. Tyreke Evans had 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the win. Evans has scored 20 or more points in each of his last four games, including his career high so far of 32 points against the Utah Jazz on November 7, 2009. Tyreke Evans has hit the ground running so far in his very young NBA career. As a Kings' fan myself, I hope he keeps it up. Evans, Jennings and Blake Griffin should be battling all season long for the rookie-of-the-year award in the NBA.
